Thin walls and vigorously applied exterior incising help to create an animated, bug-eyed peccary head with an upturned snout. Turn the jar upside down and it becomes a classic armadillo with slit eyes and short ears. from O'Grady, Myth & Melancholy: The Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. O'Grady Collection of Southern Cone Art (Notre Dame, 2014)
