This memorandum and the one preceding (MSN/COL 2717-50) relate to the case of Elizebeth Easton, a single woman living in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Dated 8 November 1729, it records a bond of recognizance entered by Easton in the amount of £20, with Nathaniel Shepherd and Daniel Spooner as sureties in the amount of £10 each, on condition that Easton appear before the Court of General Sessions to prosecute her complaint against Wing Spooner.
