Rare Books & Special Collections, Hesburgh Libraries
One of the pieces of newspaper lists "Temp. Capt. A. S. Le Rossignol," referring to Arthur Le Rossignol, who was under the paygrade of Staff Captain. The other newspaper piece has a poem titled "Admiral Keyes," written by an unknown author listed as "E. G. B," detailing the raid on the German base "Zeebrugge," by Baron Roger Brownlow Keyes. The relevancy of this second item to the collection is uncertain. The backside has a segment of a story titled "New Way to Deal with Shell Shock," where it is reported that the British have started using electro-shock therapy to treat sufferers of Shell Shock, today known as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
