A warrant issued by the Swansea board of selectmen. directing the constable to give public notice of a town meeting on 4 December 1744, for the purpose of selecting two constables. Constable Oliver Mason's endorsement appears on the reverse, along with a later record of votes taken at a town meeting on 25 November 1745.
