The plat, dated April 1, 1784, is signed by the surveyor general, Richard Call (?); it declares itself "pursuant to a Warrant from under the Hand of the honourable Charles Crawford, Esquire, senior Justice presiding at a Land Court held in the County of Richmond . . . ."
