This memorandum and the one following (MSN/COL 2717-51) relate to the case of Elizebeth Easton, a single woman living in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Dated 17 September 1728, and written and signed by Bristol County justice Samuel Willis, it records Easton's complaint alleging that Wing Spooner, also of Dartmouth, is the father of her bastard child.
