La Clerecía (17th-18th centuries), a Jesuit complex including Baroque collegium (theological seminary), cloister and a church with a large façade. This fine example of Spanish baroque architecture has belonged to the Pontificia University since 1941. King Felipe III was responsible for ordering its construction in 1617 and the work took almost 50 years to complete.
